Porn

For what purpose is this material? Because we can? What does it say about a culture that objectifies half its population? What can this do for relationships and the ability to risk relationships? Aren't there enough real people with whom one can have sex? Isn't masturbation really a precursor to the real deal? Who among porn followers would have their daughter, niece, or mother be the object of pornography? Visual stimulation is one thing, visual/internet/phone sex with an unknown fantasy seems to isolate the user from real life. What, why, when and with whom?

The first amendment covers free speech. So porn is covered, usually. But at what cost to the user?
